Relationships

We believe that education is about much more than books and lessons—it’s about people. Made in the image of our relational God, we know that strong, healthy relationships are the right foundation for learning and working together.

Education at Covenant flows outward from the home. Rather than adopting the patterns of state or private schools, we are guided by the principles of a happy home environment. That’s why our class sizes are intentionally small (8–10 children at most). This allows us to know one another deeply and to value every child as an individual.

With the children, relationships open the door to discovery. They help us understand what “switches their lights on,” so we can differentiate well, encourage them where they shine, and support them where they need help.

This is also why we use a parent-teacher model wherever possible. We believe there is great joy and benefit in knitting family life together with the learning journey. The first, deepest, and most lasting educational experiences happen at home—so “formal” education works best when it flows naturally from that foundation.

At Covenant, each child, each adult, and each family matters. Every person is loved for who God has made them to be and for what He is doing in their lives. We believe that loving relationships are essential to creating a healthy, happy, and fruitful learning environment—and to building a school community that truly thrives.
