The aspirations we have for our children reflect the commandment of Jesus, to
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength. And love your neighbour as yourself.”
Our energies and prayers are directed towards the development of each child’s:
Heart: interests, friendships, values, character qualities
Mind: knowledge, understanding, ability to question and to learn, critical thinking, articulation of thoughts.
Soul: The development of their relationship with God, discovery of the ways in which they can enjoy, worship, serve and relate to God. Knowledge of what this means for others.
Strength: physical strength and agility, personal risk-assessment, practical capabilities.
Love for others: ability to connect, converse, serve, manage conflict and emotion and build good and healthy friendships. Community relations, connections and suport.
Covenant also has a strong history of academic and personal achievement and we celebrate the results our children achieve at 16 and beyond. We have a thriving alumni consiting of engineers, doctors, lecturers, teachers, missionaries, to name but a few.
