Partnership

We believe that raising and educating children is the primary responsibility of Christian parents. However, it is not a calling that we need to bear by ourselves — Covenant school is a supportive community and we aim to support each other in raising and educating children and all that this might involve.

We are part of a wider supportive community called the Christians in Schools Trust (CIST) and work with a number of local organisations in thier support with SEND, Counselling provision, safeguarding, and more.

Commitment

Parents commit to working for the school for one day a week per child attending. This usually takes the form of teaching classes, delivering and planning curriculum content. Initially this is with the support of qualified teacher/s mentors.

Some parents choose to contribute the equivalent monetary value to employ a teacher.

No matter what the chosen contribution, every family serves the school, children and each other daily through support, prayer and practical outworking. Children are very much involved in this culture through their allocated stewardship roles.

Partnerships

We value partnerships with churches, charities and organisations, and are always keen and open to expanding our relationships to enable our children to broaden thier experiences.

Funding

Due to the Christian nature of the school, we are not in receipt of government funding and are reliant upon giving from our community, supportive individuals and organisations. If you would like to consider giving regularly or as a one-off please contact us.
